Getting started with WRF on Yggdrasil

Hi all,

@alepou and I are getting started on WRF that @Yann.Sagon has installed on Yggdrasil. It seems that WRF requires two additional dependencies called WPS and wrf-python, both accessible on Easybuild. Could you please install them?

Then, we have a couple of questions:

  • Where in the system is WRF installed? Absolute paths are required in input files
  • Do you have any idea if these files were installed at the same time as WRF?

Last… @Yann.Sagon, would you have time for a call? As you might have seen from the Easybuild website, WRF is a b*#%ch of a model to run. @alepou is the expert and I am totally out of my league, and he has questions that I am not able to answer. A call would simplify and speed up the process a lot…
