Gurobi license on Yggdrasil

Hi,

Gurobi is having trouble to access the license file, which is located on Baobab.

I am getting this warning:
Failed to connect to token server ‘master.baobab.hpc.unige.ch’ (port 41954).
Problem retrieving token server status
Running cost-optimal scenario on node cpu101.yggdrasil

My model fails to get access to the license file, which causes the model to crash.

Is it possible to get the license on Yggdrasil as well?

Thanks for any advice!

the license works on the login node but not on the cpu node.

here is what I get on the login node:
[sasse@login1 Control]$ gurobi_cl --tokens

Checking status of Gurobi token server ‘master.baobab.hpc.unige.ch’…

Token server functioning normally.
Maximum allowed uses: 4096, current: 0

A post was split to a new topic: Coincbc solver instead of Gurobi

Hi there,

Sorry for the inconvenience, I forgot to allow the router address as well, fixed:

[capello@login1 ~]$ salloc -n1 -c1 --partition=debug-cpu --time=00-00:10:00 srun -n1 -N1 --pty $SHELL
salloc: Granted job allocation 280428
salloc: Waiting for resource configuration
salloc: Nodes cpu001 are ready for job
[capello@cpu001 ~]$ module load Gurobi
[capello@cpu001 ~]$ gurobi_cl --tokens

Checking status of Gurobi token server 'master.baobab.hpc.unige.ch'...

Token server functioning normally.
Maximum allowed uses: 4096, current: 0

[capello@cpu001 ~]$ exit
salloc: Relinquishing job allocation 280428
[capello@login1 ~]$

Thx, bye,
Luca
