How do you plan to make people pay for the HPC in a near future?

A few questions regarding HPC services and its future:

• Do we have to pay for teaching purposes?
• Is the time used to prepare my classes counted as normal hours on my account?
• At the faculty of letters, not everyone is skilled enought to train a model, so I end up doing it for others: is it possible to say “on behalf of whom” I am using the service?

Ideally no, but we’ll have to find a way to technically handle this case.

Yes, you need to be added as user of the PI “on behalf of whom” and you specify this PI (account in Slurm vocabulary) when you submit your job. hpc:faq [eResearch Doc]
