"Kinit" not found on compute nodes

Description

Dear HPC Team,

I’m trying to use the “kinit” tool to connect to CERN services from within a job, but it seems it doesn’t exist on the compute nodes, which is odd as it was working previously (~ a few months ago).
On the login nodes, kinit works perfectly. Is there any additional steps to follow ?

Thank you a lot in advance,

Steps to Reproduce

In a bash script submitted as a job on the compute nodes, try to run :

$ which kinit

$ kinit -k -t <pathtokeytab> <ID> (or whatever kinit command)

Expected Result

It should create a new valid ticket silently.

Actual Result

/usr/bin/which: no kinit in (/cvmfs/atlas.cern.ch/repo/ATLASLocalRootBase/x86_64/xrootd/6.1.1-x86_64-el9/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/sbin)

/var/spool/slurmd/job12431128/slurm_script: line 8: kinit: command not found

Dear Edward,

I add the package in the base deployement, you will now be able to use this.

Best regards,
