Description

I am pulling a singularity image from docker, but for some reason, the last process step causes an error (see message below). Is this caused by the currently available space on the /tmp folder ?

FATAL: While making image from oci registry: error fetching image to cache: while building SIF from layers: packer failed to pack: while unpacking tmpfs: error unpacking rootfs: unpack layer: unpack entry: usr/libexec/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/13/cc1plus: unpack to regular file: short write: write /tmp/build-temp-1848130556/rootfs/usr/libexec/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/13/cc1plus: no space left on device

Thanks

Dear @Pablo.Timoner ,

please check the link here (the light bulb) this explain how to select an alternate location for tmp . As a workaround we increased the /tmp disk size on login node, see [baobab] “[…] OSError: [Errno 28] No space left on device”.
