The problem with scratch not responding seems to have popped up again over the last few minutes

we have contacted a user that was dealing with a lot of files and suggested him to use local storage or fast scratch (same use case as this issue : Scratch Disk I/O Saturation)
Any user dealing with a lot of small files are concerned too and can try the suggestion on this post too. This will greatly enhance the user experience for everyone.
