Can't pull new singularity images

Hi,

I am trying to pull a new singularity image but am getting

FATAL: While making image from oci registry: error fetching image to cache: while building SIF from layers: conveyor failed to get: writing blob: write /tmp/bundle-temp-1299871194/oci-put-blob3581217348: no space left on device

I have cleared my local cache and tried pulling with APPTAINER_DISABLE_CACHE=True, but it doesn’t work.

I know other users are having the same issue.

Cheers,
Sam

Hi, according to the error message you get, /tmp is full. Pleas specify another location.

Hi, thanks! I set this to our groups storage space, which should have more than enough space, but now I am getting

FATAL: While making image from oci registry: error fetching image to cache: while building SIF from layers: unable to create new build: while ensuring correct compression algorithm: while creating temporary file for squashfs source: open /srv/beegfs/scratch/groups/rodem/dbbm/container/tmp/bundle-temp-3060127039/squashfs-gzip-comp-test-src756176487: disk quota exceeded

I can pull the image locally with docker and its about 10 GB.

Actually it seems I can’t create any files in that directory now, so probably thanks to the new number of files limi.

Hi, indeed. we’ll remove your quota for one week to allows you to do some cleanup. Please contact us directly by email if this is an issue.
