Dear Caroline,

this is great, thanks a lot!

Maybe only tangentially related, I am wondering, is there a calendar, in format which I can import (e.g. ics), of these and other important e-research events in UniGE (e.g. planned downtime, other information sessions)?

Best Regards

Volodymyr

Dear Volodymir,

Thanks for your feedback!

I have just created a page for HPC lunch in the UNIGE agenda from which you are able to export events in your own calendar.

To be informed about eResearch events, please see the events page or become a member of eResearch communities via the following emailing lists:

With best regards,

Thanks to @Caroline.Wilhem to have added the event to the UNIGE agenda.

We have as well added the event to the hpc-community calendar where we add as well our scheduled maintenance.
The link to the calendar is now available on the header (top) of this forum.

Thanks a lot @Caroline.Wilhem and @Yann.Sagon! All works great.

A minor detail, I struggled to convince browsers to interpret the HPC Calendar page, it has a bit of non-https resources.

Cheers

Volodymyr

Hello,

We know about that, it’s not only on the calendar page, but on the whole website. It’s not easy to fix unfortunately, mainly due to the authentication integration.

Thanks for the clarification!

I had an impression the calendar was especially affected, since the iCal/RSS export did not work, and this correlated with a kind of mixed resource blocking which was different from the rest of the site. However on closer inspection may be it’s not related. I extracted the iCal link from the source, it’s ok.

Cheers

Volodymyr

Hello

considering the recent developments, is there a possibility for remote participation in the lunch?

Regards

Volodymyr

Hello Volodymyr,
Yes, we have just sent the below email to the HPC community!
Thanks for your interest and have a nice evening.
Caroline
